About the Organization: Mahavir Sikshan Sansthan MAHAVIR SHIKSHAN SANSTHAN is a registered, No.949, SocietyRegistration act 21,1860 working for last 3 years, non-government; secular, non-political, non-profiting making grassroots rural development organization managed by the community leaders themselves through a democratic process. It operates a hospital at Kanpur & development programs in periurban in Kannur district with various programs for the children, adolescents, women, and farm and non-farm families with a holistic approach of development in agriculture, education, health etc The communities Mahavir Shikshan Sansthan works with are the poorest of the poor, BPL, minorities and Dalits. The organization has started its activities in the year 2012 covering 20,000 population at the initial stage. Later the activities extended throughout the District through the nutritional intervention of the children and health related interventions for the Adolescents and mothers.

Mahavir Shikshan Sansthan is Working with Jain hospital for treatment and Management of BPL and PeriurbanSlum Antenatal and other Patients especially helping in detection and treatment of Gestational Diabetes and Diabetes Patients. 

Organization is training Unskilled healthcare Professionals like Ward boy, Bed Assistant, Nurse, Assistant, Senatorial, SocialWorker,X-Ray assistant, Receptionist for Nursing home, Counsellor for Patients, Aya, Pharmacist Assistant, Physician Assistant, Nursing assistant for lst 3 years under BSS andPMSKY

“To create an environment for the deprived & disadvantaged communities for sustainable development and empowermentthrough promoting Community based Organizations with a focus on children, Children’s clubs, Women SHGs,Farmers groups and people centered natural resource management to ensure food security and other developmentalneeds in the block in convergence with Government rural development services / programs’.Profile of theArea: Legally whole India but at present active in Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and NCR area. We are Expandingour Work in backward Districts of Bundelkhand area of Uttar Pradesh from 2016 onward. And in Africa andBangladesh from 2018

•  We aim to achieve implementation and accessibility of Sexual and Reproductive health to Women and adolescent age group.
•  We aim to achieve linking meternal health with Non Communicable Diseases in later life.
