As per WHO, for the prevention of T2 diabetes include saturated fatty acid intake to <10% of energy intake ( for high risk , <than 7%); & achieving adequate intake of dietary fibre (minimum daily intake of 20 grams) consumption of wholegrain cereals, legumes, fruits & vegetables.
